Curriculum innovation meets indigenous knowledge in one simple platform
Ngarrngga - the Taungurung word meaning to know, to hear, to understand - is a unique project with the vision for all Australian students to have the opportunity to connect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge systems, histories and cultures. Conceived to go beyond being a website or simple resource library. It is an ongoing research initiative that was envisioned as a launchpad for building a vibrant educator community, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration.

Key project moments
“In designing the website, it was important to ensure that it met some very diverse and at times, conflicting priorities. While it was to be user friendly and visually engaging, it also had to function as both a repository for curriculum and research. It had to house educational resources meeting curriculum and education policy standards while showcasing Indigenous Knowledges”
